Eduardo is a seasoned executive, board member, and advisor who played a critical role in the success of the companies he worked with. His entrepreneur and ethical profile, relentless strategic focus, and recognized leadership capabilities have been crucial to delivering superior results across multiple industries and geographies consistently.

After more than 30 years as an executive, Eduardo decided to leave the corporate life and create a strategy consulting company and advisory network focused on generating wealth for businesses, individuals, and the society and based on his passion for continuous learning and transference of knowledge.

During his tenure as an executive, Eduardo worked for several corporations starting in Bunge in 1982 and ending in Mondelēz Intl in 2013.  He worked with Cadbury Schweppes, Lojas Americanas, Nabisco, and Kraft Foods, developing his leadership, consistently delivering superior results, and, most importantly, was always a step-change driver from the times as a finance analyst to the CEO roles.

Lead the Global Initiative, Fuel for Growth / 2012-13 / VP Strategy, Mondelēz LA

Eduardo led the development and deploying of a critical strategic revenue management initiative around the globe to generate higher margins to foster growth. Several priority markets like China, Brazil, India, Russia, South Africa, as well as divisions in Europe and North America benefited from the initiative generating relevant margin improvements enabling growth acceleration.

Lead the Kraft & Cadbury Integration / 2010-12 / President, Mondelēz Mexico, and VP, Mondelēz LA

Eduardo was the CEO of the Kraft Mexico at the time of Cadbury acquisition and elevated as President of the new billionaire combined company with a critical mission of leading the integration. The focus was on forging the new Mondelēz Intl. based on the best of both cultures, people, capabilities, and assets. The result was a fresh well balanced and blended organization with top-line synergies, especially in Snacks, advancing up to 40% based on the new combined route to market and annual costs synergies of tenths of millions fostering growth acceleration.

Lead Strategic and Cultural Revamp in Mexico / 2007-10 / CEO, Kraft Mexico, and VP, Kraft Foods LA

Eduardo led the advancement of the BU strategy, resuming the profitable growth at double-digit level, resetting the leadership, and elevating the team morale while climbing the rank of the best company to work to the #1 position in 2009 starting from the #38 spot in 2006.

Lead Business Turnaround in Venezuela / 2004-07 / CEO, Kraft Venezuela, and VP, Kraft Foods LA

Eduardo led the organization to resume the profitability and sustainable business growth with gains of more than 5 pp in the EBITDA margin and 7% annual growth in revenues while restoring company high ethical standards amid a turbulent country environment with a high degree of government intervention.

Before 2004, Eduardo worked as GM for Kraft Foods Snacks BU and Grocery & Cheese BU in Brazil. Previous to that, he played the Strategy lead in reshaping the portfolio of Kraft Foods Brazil after Nabisco acquisition. He also played the role of GM for the master franchisee of Schweppes in Brazil, Departments Cluster GM in Lojas Americanas, and several other positions in Bunge Brazil.

Amongst the people he led and developed during his executive career, several C-level executives are nowadays operating in global and local corporations.

Eduardo has continuously developed his capabilities beyond the on-the-job with advanced studies in edge universities as IMD, INSEAD, Wharton, Kellogg, USP... in fronts like building effective boards, strategy in a digital disruptive era, strategic customer management, brand building, finance engineering.
